It all started within the heart of a small southern town, Sumter, South Carolina. Kristi Bohnen, a new mother and former educator, branched out to sell silver jewelry as a vendor in a local art shop. Her time at the art shop connected her with a local invitation designer, and they decided to go into business together.
Suitably Silverpaper was formed, a combination of sterling silver jewelry paired with specialty invitations. Years later, Kristi was given a new outlook on life when she had to undergo heart surgery. She successfully had the surgery and bought her business partner out in the same year.
With the business on her shoulders, Kristi transformed Silverpaper into what it is well known for today: a fashion-forward, inspiring lifestyle brand that offers an eclectic collection of jewelry, apparel, home accessories, specialty invitations, and gifts.
Kristi has cultivated her life and business around the following verse, "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts." Colossians 3:15 and even designed her logo around it. The logo features a large heart symbolizing the countless blessings she's received, topped with a crown to reference her steadfast faith.

Stella came into our lives in March of 2021 and has captured our hearts. We can always count on her to greet customers and fall asleep on the job. We are so grateful for the opportunity to adopt this precious pup and hope you get the chance to come in and say hi to Stella!
